Hello everybody,NOTE: On June 16th 2008 WOTC announced that after the EVENTIDE pre
release, all future pre releases will be held at SHOP level... which only
mean ONE SAD news... Pre release will never be the same again. It will not
be a BIG thingy anymore and EVENTIDE will be the last BIG pre release I
will be organizing... so make sure U attend the LAST ever BIG pre release
in Malaysia...

ELIGIBILITY
General Eligibility Requirement Players may compete in only one country’s
City Championship Finals per season.
Each country’s City Championship Finals are open to those DCI members who
are citizens or have been residents of that country since January 1 of
that year.
If a player competes in a City Championship Final in one country, he or
she may not compete in a Regional tournament, City Championship Final or
National Championship of another country until the following season.
Players who already hold invitations to a National Championship may not
compete in a City Championship Final that feeds into any National
Championship.
PRIZE STRUCTURE:
All players will receive an EXTENDED ART “IMPERIOUS PERFECT” card as a
DOOR GIFT.
The 1st to 4th place finishers will receive :
- an invite to Malaysia Nationals 2008,
- 12 Morningtide boosters and

Hello everyone!We're introducing a new rule for our constructed tournaments - "The 7 Proxy rule".
Only certain events will have this rule, and for now, only the Gauntlet series will have this rule.
The rule allows you to have 7 proxy cards in your deck. This means, you can use up to 7 cards you do not own for your decks by putting replacement cards that clearly represents the card that you want to play in your deck.
You may either print out a very clear copy of the card with readable text and insert it into your sleeves with a random magic card, or write down very clearly, the name of the card, the casting cost (use 'W','U','B','R','G' to represent white, blue, black, red, green mana symbols), card type with subtypes if any, and the rules text, including the power / toughness if any, on a piece of paper, and insert it into a sleeve with a random magic card.
Please note that as the rule name implies, you may only use up to SEVEN proxy cards in your deck.
Also note that you many only proxy very expensive cards or very hard to find cards. If you have the means to purchase the cards and it is available, you may not proxy it.
Exceptions will be made for special circumstances such as, you do own the card, but it has been on loan to a friend, or you have ordered the purchase of the card and it has not arrived yet. But the maximum card limit for proxies remains the same.
Hopefully this rule will allow players to play with better decks and have more fun playing their decks. :)
However, please be reminded that playing proxy cards for any sanctioned tournaments are not allowed and it is illegal.

Welcome to a start of a new exciting series of Magic: The Gathering play!From today onwards, players may sign up, run the gauntlet, and get a chance to win a booster pack or one of these beauties, as often as they want!
You might even walk away with one if you're lucky!
Here how it's going to work.
1. The Gauntlet will 'fire' every time it fills it's 8-man quota.
2. It will be a Standard Constructed single-elimination tournament with a twist.
3. Players will then be paired randomly, and the pairings will be announced.
(And here's the twist.)
4. There will be no specific time or place to play. Instead, players have to contact each other and arrange a place and time to play a best 2 out of 3 games match. Then, the results of the match must be reported to the tournament organizer.
5. There will be exact time limit on when the players must play out their match, but everyone is encouraged to play them out as soon as possible, preferably within a day or two. Players' right to compete will be forfeited if they could not play their match with a suitable time period.
6. Any rules infraction or disagreements should be reported to the tournament organizer as soon as possible, and the organizer will strive to resolve them as soon as he can, but players might be subjected to a rematch if the circumstances arises.
7. Entry fee to Run the Gauntlet will be RM2.
8. The winner of the Gauntlet will be entitled to choose from i) a Booster Pack or ii) one promotional card out of the available ones as his prize. The runner-up will receive the one not chosen.
9. Another promotional card will be given out at random to one of the remaining players in a lucky draw.
10. Every player besides the winner and the runner-up will also receive one rare card of his or her choice from the tournament organizer's rare box, limited to certain cards only.

Event Description: It?s back! Bigger & better! The 2007 Euro Game Retreat will be held on 24-25 November (Saturday-Sunday), once again at the Awana Golf & Country Club.
Unfortunately, the prices have shot up (compared to last year), so to make up for the higher prices, we will be offering various Retreat + Game bundles.
We only have 12 seats (four are taken), and for the first time, we are also opening the retreat to gamers from Singapore, so please confirm your seat asap!

24 November (Saturday)

Registration: 830am - 900am.
Euro games: 900am - 700pm.
- 5 games (1hr x 1; 1.5hrs x 3; 2hrs x 1).
- Morning tea break with snacks,
- Buffet lunch.
- Buffet dinner.
Free time: 700pm onwards.
25 November (Sunday)

Euro games: 900am - 100pm.
- 2 games (1hr x 1, 2hrs, x 1).
- Morning tea break with snacks.

Each participant will play 7 games.
Random allocation to tables 1, 2, 3 & 4.
